NAMPA, Idaho — October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and one coffee chain is raising awareness and funds to help find a cure. The Human Bean is hosting its 14th annual Coffee for a Cure today.
The Human Bean Coffee is donating all of the day's sales to the Saint Alphonsus Breast Care Center. All 11 Treasure Valley locations, including its newly opened Star location, will take part in the fundraiser. The Saint Alphonsus Mobile Mammography Unit will also be on location at its Nampa store.
The chain has set a $20,000 goal for the day. To take part, just stop by your local Human Bean store and purchase a drink, food, or a specially-designed 20 ounce pink tumbler or hydroflask.
