MERIDIAN, Idaho — The Village at Meridian is hosting a no-contact food drive on April 22 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The drive will be located in the parking lot along Eagle Road.
The Meridian Food Bank is experiencing a shortage of donations due to the novel coronavirus. Since the food bank can't host normal food drives, there has been a decrease in donations. There is also an increase in need, so the Village at Meridian is stepping up to support the community.
The Meridian Food Bank is need of all non-perishable food items, especially boxed mac and cheese, peanut butter, canned tuna and meat, pasta and canned pasta sauce and boxed rice. If you are willing to donate, you can drive up and drop off donations.
