BOISE, Idaho — Three people have been arrested after Boise Police found what they believe is heroin and other drug paraphernalia in a home on Russett Street.

Boise Police officers began investigating the residence back in August. When investigators searched the home, four people were found inside and detained. Officers found suspected heroin, a digital scale, multiple empty baggies, and other drug related paraphernalia. Police also found two firearms.

Three of the suspects, identified as 29-year-old Ashley McCollum, 29-year-old Chambray Amlin, and 26-year-old Austin Scott were all arrested and charged with multiple drug-related charges.

The fourth person was cited for frequenting and released.

Officers found evidence a young child had spent time at the home and had been exposed to drug use and deplorable living conditions. The child's mother, McCollum, and roommate Amlin were later charged with felony injury to a child in addition to the drug charges.
