Toys for Tots kicks off with a goal of making the holiday's bright for close to 15,000 local kids

As always the US Marine Corps. will be collecting and distributing the toys with drop off locations at all Albertsons in the Treasure Valley and multiple other locations.

MERIDIAN — The Toys for Tots holiday donation drive is now underway across southern Idaho.

This year, the US Marine Corps Reserve hopes to collect enough toys in the Treasure Valley for 15,000 children. Last year, the community donated more than 70,000 gift items.

This shopping season, organizers are urging you to donate those toys early. You can get more information here.
