Ada County Sheriff's deputies and Idaho State Police troopers responded to numerous slide-offs and rollovers in Ada County this morning.

By the end of the morning commute, four slide-offs, twenty-five non-injury crashes, five rollovers and one extrication were reported.

Despite the numerous accidents, the worst injury reported was a possible broken shoulder.

Vehicle damage and personal injuries were reported in the Hwy 16 and Hwy 20/26 areas, Hwy 16 and Chaparral Drive, Highway 16 and Chinden Blvd., Chinden Blvd and Star road, Star and Ustick roads, Ballantyne road and State Street and also on State Street and Eagle road. 

The new highway 16 extension between Chinden and State street was particularly busy with accidents and police response. Both northbound and southbound lanes were blocked as crews cleared accidents and towed away wreckage.

A crash near State street and Ballantyne involved over 20 cars according to the Ada County Sheriff's department.
