The Idaho Transportation Department has closed down I-15 between the Montana State Border to Dubois, Idaho.
Officials say heavy snowfall and blowing and drifting winds are creating hazardous travel conditions. There is no detour because the surrounding areas are experiencing similar conditions.
Motorists are encouraged to avoid the area if possible.
