The Boise airport says the three days before and after thanksgiving are the busiest for holiday travel. On a daily basis they see 7,000 people through the airport, this week that bumps up to 10,000 to 11,000.
The airport expects bigger lines and longer waiting times because of all the first time flyers.
Their biggest tips for an easy flight, come two hours before your flight, always check for delays on the airport's website, and check TSA for items you can't take with you on you carry on.
