With all the recent snow, getting out of the house and having some winter fun might be on your mind.

The tubing hill at Eagle Island State Park will open today for tubing. Crews started getting ready about two weeks ago.

Yesterday, they put the finishing touches on for the big day and the owner says the hill is in great shape.

"We have four snow guns so, we've actually almost doubled our capacity by adding the fourth one just because it's such a larger volume of snow so we're able to just put down an unbelievable amount of snow in a short amount of time," said Ryan Neptune, Gateway Parks Owner.

The tubing hill is open Wednesday through Sunday. The owner says they will be open for valley wide snow days and holidays.

Tickets are $15 for a day pass which includes a tube. Children under the age of three are free. The hill will open for tubing today from four to eight p.m.
