Two in custody following pursuit in E. Idaho

The Twin Falls County Sheriff’s Office is reporting that a high-speed pursuit and forty-minute standoff with two suspects ended peacefully.

A deputy attempted to pull over a red Dodge Charger at Kimberly Road and Trade Street at 2:28 am, January 25th.

The driver refused to stop and fled the scene.  The driver ran multiple stop signs at excessive speeds before turning south on Rock Creek Road into the South Hills.

The vehicle skidded off the roadway and high centered onto a snowbank, one mile south of Third Fork Campground.

The driver and passenger refused to leave the vehicle for about forty-minutes before giving up and being placed into custody.

Sinthia Ramirez, 22, of Kimberly is being held on felony eluding and driving without privileges.

The passenger, 26 year-old Brooke Gee of Pocatello, is being held on obstructing charges.
