Two Caldwell golf courses opening April 17

CALDWELL, Idaho — Purple Sage and Fairview Golf Courses in Caldwell will be opening Friday at 9 a.m. in light of the modified stay-home order. The City of Caldwell has put in place certain social distancing modifications at both courses.

Purple Sage will have the back nine holes open Monday through Friday and the front nine will undergo maintenance for the golf cart path. All 18 holes will be open on Saturday and Sunday. The driving range at Purple Sage will be closed until further notice.

Clubhouses will be open for golf transactions and limited concession purchases, all other meal services are suspended. Cart rentals will be limited to one per person with no additional riders.

Sanitation and cleaning efforts have been increased at both courses to provide the safest environment possible.

All other city buildings will remain closed to the public, as previously implemented. Full services are still available via phone, email or through the City of Caldwell website.
