CALDWELL, Idaho — The first day of school is only a few weeks away. The Vallivue School District board of trustees held a special meeting this morning to discuss their re-opening plan.
The board approved to have elementary school students follow a four-day, in-person school week. Secondary students will follow an “A” or “B” day schedule.
Regardless of grade level, students will remotely learn on Mondays. The board will ensure each child has a device they can bring back and forth to school with them.
If students do end up entirely online in the future, all sports and extra circular activities will be canceled, and teachers will be expected to livestream their lessons from their empty classrooms.
