NAMPA, Idaho — The Warhawk Air Museum honored our veterans this morning while also conducting a special ceremony to celebrate the 244th birthday of the United States Marine Corps.

The ceremony included the time-honored Marine tradition of cutting the cake with a 94-year-old Marine veteran, Ernie Ferguson, and a 76-year-old retired marine.

With about 1200 people attending, events like today's pay tribute to all heroes who have fought for our country.

The Nampa Police pipes and drums played music for the event, and museum staff served up a big breakfast as a way to say thank you to our Idaho veterans.
