Baptista, a wealthy merchant of Padua, has two daughters: Katherina and Bianca. Because of Katherina's shrewish disposition, her father has declared that no one shall wed Bianca until such time as Katherina has been married. Lucentio of Pisa, one of many suitors to the younger and kinder Bianca, devises a scheme in which he and Tranio (his servant) will switch clothes, and thus disguised, Lucentio will offer his services as a tutor for Bianca in order to get closer to her. The San Inazio Festival is an annual event to honor St. Ignatius of Loyola, the patron saint of the Basques. It began more than 25 years ago and now thousands come to the Basque Block at the end of every July to see local musicians and dancers as well as Basque sporting events. This year officially kicks off Friday with “Friends and Family” night, encouraging everyone to bring their favorite pintxo (appetizer) to share and visit with those that have traveled from far away or from just down the road. Boise Little Theater presents this Youth Summer Play in partnership with Boise Parks and Recreation. A musical based on the true story of the Lind family during World War II, Stalwart is a glimpse into Lind brothers' life before, during and after the war, and takes the audience to the Lind home, the military barracks, the combat field and the USO. For this trio, family and music are inseparable. The band consists of three brothers from San Angelo, Texas: Henry (guitar, vocals), Jojo (bass, vocals), and Ringo (drums, vocals) Garza. They follow the tradition of their father, Ringo Garza, Sr., who formed a band with his brothers called The Falcons. Los Lonely Boys plays a style of music they call "Texican Rock n' Roll," combining elements of rock and roll, Texas blues, brown-eyed soul, country, and Tejano. More info here!

David Ian “Joe” Jackson is an English musician and singer-songwriter. After years of studying music and playing clubs, Jackson’s first release, “Is She Really Going Out with Him?” became a hit in 1979. This was followed by a number of new wave singles before he moved to more jazz-inflected pop music and had a Top 10 hit in 1982 with “Steppin’ Out”. He has also composed classical music.
