Rusty Barn Quilt, Craft and Sewing Festival

At the show you will find a wide variety of Sewing, Quilting, Needle-art and Craft supply exhibits from many quality local and national companies. In addition, you will have the opportunity to participate in one or more of the many “Make and Take” Workshops or FREE Daily Demos. National Public Gardens Day

The Idaho Botanical Garden continues its tradition of participating in National Public Gardens Day by offering free Garden admission – all day long.  The event is a national day of celebration to raise awareness of America’s public gardens and the role they play in promoting environmental stewardship and awareness, plant and water conservation, and education. Famous Motel Cowboys Reunion

The 15th Annual Famous Motel Cowboys Reunion is this weekend! This year's event will take place May 11th -13th and at the Visual Arts Collective. Cover charge is $15 Friday and Saturday, and no cover on Sunday. There’ll be a stellar lineup of entertainment for the weekend! This is a 21+ event. More info here!

 

Blistered Earth

Boise Women's Chorus: We Will Not Be Silent

Join the Boise Women's Chorus for a special performance presented in support of the Idaho Coalition Against Sexual and Domestic Violence. The mission of the Coalition is to engage voices to create change in the prevention, intervention and response to domestic violence, dating abuse, stalking and sexual assault. The Coalition works to be a leader in the movement to end violence against women and girls, men and boys across the life span before violence has occurred, because violence is preventable. SNIP’s Hogs for Dogs and Kitties, Too

SNIP and High Desert Harley-Davidson are partnering for a fun afternoon! SNIP (Spay Neuter Idaho Pets, Inc.) will have its First Annual Hogs for Dogs and Kitties, too! motorcycle poker ride starting at High Desert Harley-Davidson. The ride is to generate funds to fix income qualified dogs and cats, the event will start at 11AM, and prices for the highest and lowest total card totals will win a $1,200 black leather rocker recliner donated from CHF Home Furnishings. 2nd Annual River of Roses

Please join Little Joys Remembrance Foundation for the 2nd Annual River of Roses as families release blue, pink, and white roses down the Boise River in honor of all the Little Joys gone too soon. Idaho Humane Society's 4th Annual Pooch Pageant

May 12th, 2018 | 10AM - 6PM
This event will be 10am-6pm with the pageant from 1-4, to register your pooch to compete go here and sign up. This year IHS will have two groups. "Natural" will be your pooch with collar and leash only. These pooches pass up the glamour and glitz to show you that “Natural” is the way they roll. "Glitz" you can go all out! Dress up your pooch as much as you want, you can dress up to! Be as creative as you like. In both groups 1st and 2nd runner up will receive a trophy and sash. More info here!

 

4th Annual Bosnian and Herzegovinian Heritage Day

Join the celebration at Redwood Park! The event features live music, food trucks, local artisans and vendors, community resources and kids activities facilitated by the Parks & Recreation Mobile Rec team. Treasure Valley Roller Derby

2018 Komen Boise Race for the Cure

Through events like the Komen Boise Race for the Cure, Komen Idaho Montana has invested over $7 million in community breast health programs in Idaho and Montana and has helped contribute to the more than $920 million invested globally in research. Join Foothills Learning Center for their first ever Foothills Wildflower Festival!
