Tonight at Idaho Center, Boys & Girls Clubs of Ada County is having a Wild West themed fundraiser. It will feature a mechanical bull, raffles and bidding on a range of rare, exotic items ranging from seats at a sold-out Paul Simon show, medical airlifts for life, and even a customized Glock handgun and 4 days of training.
"It's going to improve our services, enable more children to come in through the door, and really help them get the help and opportunities they need to be healthy adults," said Joey Schueler, Director of Operations for Boys & Girls Clubs of Ada County.
Boys & Girls Clubs mission is "to inspire and empower all young people, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens."
There are Boys & Girls Clubs in Meridian, Mosley Center, Hawthorne and Kuna.
