Officials say the accidents have been minor so far, not requiring hospitalizations, and are widespread from the Idaho-Oregon border to east of Boise. Accidents have been reported near the Garrity exit, the Eagle exit, and in Boise near Broadway and Federal.
Officials in Boise County also warned drivers of winter weather conditions on Banks-Lowman Road and Highway 55. A multi-car crash blocked the northbound lane of ID-55 for several hours Sunday afternoon.
Idaho State Police warn drivers to budget extra time in their Monday morning commute, as roads may be snow or ice-covered in the morning.
If you're heading back to work or school tomorrow, please plan extra time to get there.
