MERIDIAN, Idaho — YMCA’s across the Treasure Valley kicked off their annual “Spin-A-Thon” fundraiser bright and early. At 5 a.m people lined up outside of the South Meridian location to get their early morning workout done and donate to the facility’s various programs.
Mike Kapuscinski, Executive Director at the South Meridian YMCA says that one in three kids and one in four adults in the Treasure Valley receive financial aid to be a member at the “Y”.
Programs include but are not limited to gym access, fitness classes, childcare, and social responsibility education.
