BOISE, Idaho — Young volunteers and community members are teaming up for Youth Lobby Day at the Idaho State Capitol. They will discuss ways to make Idaho a healthier and safer place to live with their legislators.
One group hoping to make a change Wednesday is the American Heart Association. Their volunteers will discuss the group's policy issues, like the state's Tobacco and Nicotine Policy and the Safe Routes to School program.
Youth Lobby Day runs from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday.
