CALDWELL, Idaho — A Caldwell home is getting a makeover this week thanks to the 29th annual Paint-a-Thon even hosted by Zions Bank. Local bank employees are volunteering to help brighten the neighborhood by painting and landscaping the home of 78-year-old Louise Rhoades.
The event helps beautify homes for senior, disabled and veteran neighbors. The Paint-a-Thon aims to help elderly residents take pride in their homes and maintain their independence.
Throughout the service project, more than 3,000 Zions Bank employees and their families are volunteering to clean, scrape and paint 40 homes in Idaho and Utah. Volunteers also help residents maintain their homes with cleanup, mowing, planting and minor repairs.
