There's no better animal ambassador for Zoo Boise's upcoming Easter Eggstravaganza than Gemma the Giant Flemish rabbit. She's about 5 years old, weighs 15 pounds, and very well may be the actual Easter Bunny.
Because she could potentially give birth to 5 or 6 litters a year of 12-15 bunnies each, you can understand why she lives with just one other female.

The zoo's Eggstravaganzais March 19th, and there will be thousands of Easter eggs filled with candy for the taking. The egg scrambles are scheduled at different times for different ages (see below). Regular admission applies.

2 & under - 10:30, 12:00, 1:30
3-5 years - 11:00, 12:30, 2:00
6-10 years - 11:30, 1:00, 2:30
Children with special needs - 3:00
