BOISE, Idaho — This weekend, Halloween returns to Zoo Boise with its annual Boo at the Zoo event.
There will be costumed characters passing out candy, costume contests for all ages, games, photo ops, face painting, special Halloween themed treats for all the zoo animals, and much more!
Proceeds from all activities are used for improvements to the zoo. Zoo Boise will be open from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm, with last admission at 4:30 pm. Entrance to Boo at the Zoo is $10 for adults, $8 for seniors (62+), $7 for kids (3-11), and infants 2 and under are free. This event is free to Friends of Zoo Boise members.
For Boo at the Zoo there will be a free shuttle service provided by Boise Parks and Recreation to get to and from the zoo. The shuttle will pick passengers up near the softball fields in Ann Morrison Park (Ann Morrison Blvd. entrance) and take them directly to the zoo. Signage will be posted to point users to the shuttle stops. Shuttles will run every 15 to 20 minutes.
