The Treasure Valley's first stand alone CBD shop is about to open, and were not talking about the one at the Towne Square Mall. That kiosk was just the beginning.
The owners of the Golden Nugget CBD store in Ontario are now officially in Idaho. "It was a soft opening," explains owner Jennifer Long, "and we didn't really tell many people that we were there yet."
They opened a kiosk a week ago in the Boise Towne Square Mall. "Response has been tremendous," says Long.
But, they quickly realized they needed more space and rented a spot at Meridian Court on Fairview right next to the big blue Crunch Fitness building.
And if you're wondering how selling CBD products is legal in Idaho where cannabis is illegal? It's simple says Long, "As long has the product has zero THC and that's zero point zero... We're allowed to have it in Idaho."
Golden Nugget says it has third party documentation from all it's producers that their products contain zero THC.
"We did our homework to make sure what we do is legal." says Long
They'll carry everything from topicals, to pet products and energy drinks. And Long says they're not stopping there, "We're actually looking at multiple other locations through the valley."
The grand opening of the Fairview location is scheduled for June 15th. In the meantime, the kiosk is still open at Boise Towne Square Mall.
