Gov Little announces Idaho is ready to move into Stage 3 on Saturday

BOISE, Idaho — Governor Little is schedule to host a press conference about stage three of Idaho Rebounds on May 28 at 1:30 p.m.. The stage is set to start on May 30, if there is no significant increase in cases and previous criteria remains met, and goes through June 12.

During stage three, vulnerable people can resume public interaction but should practice social distancing and minimize exposure to settings where it may not happen. Gathering of 10 to 50 people can happen if social distancing and precautionary measures are observed. Non-essential travel to locations that allow it and do not have ongoing transmission can resume. The mandatory 14-day self-quarantine for people entering Idaho will be discontinued in this stage.

It is encouraged for teleworking to continue when possible. According to the Idaho Rebounds website, employees can return to work in phases if social distancing, personal protections and sanitation is feasible. Employees who are considered vulnerable should remain in self-quarantine and special accommodations for those employees should be made in the workplace if they are unable to work form home. All businesses currently open should continue following protocol.

Visits to senior living facilities and congregate facilities, like jails and corrections, remain prohibited. Bars and movie theateres will be able to open this phase but nightclubs must remain closed. Nightclubs will be allowed to open as a bar if business protocols are met.
