GARDEN CITY, Idaho — The Beardsmith, a barbershop in Garden City, reopened its doors today.
Appointments are available through online booking only, and customers are welcomed with a COVID-19 prepared shop.
Barbers at the Beardsmith are wearing masks and gloves, and clients are asked to wear masks, but are allowed to remove them for beard trimming.
Barbers are also socially distanced between stations, and sanitizing stations are placed between customers. PPE measures will remain in place until the state allows them to be relaxed.
Customers are told to wait outside until they receive a text saying their appointment is ready.
The Beardsmtih is currently in the running for a "Boise's Best" award, and has products available at Albertsons, D&B Supply, and Whole Foods as well as other various small retailers.
