We learned more about Ben Moulton through his family and friends at the memorial service.

"He was so magical, the gleam in Ben’s eye, the smile, he could just silence a room with these conversations," said Ben's uncle Bill Dougherty. "Conversations that I had been having with him for 27 years, he just had such an incredible presence."

150 marines flew in from Miramar to surprise the family courtesy of Southwest Airlines. A spokesman for the family told us Southwest took care of any flight the family needed during this tough time.

"Ben was the most loyal person I ever knew," said Ben's sister Faustine. "He knew what it meant to be a friend for life, he had an unwavering moral compass. He knew right from wrong and was never shy about speaking up, when Ben promised to do something he did it."

We learned that Ben was a leader, he had a core group of friends he grew up with in Emmett and he loved his german shepard Buck.

Governor Little was their to pay his respects and the marines paid one finale tribute carrying out Ben's casket and saluting the hearse as it drove away.

"We have lost five great Americans," said Dougherty. "This is devastating to their families., their friends and the United States Marine Corps, but we need to remember that these were great Americans."
