The Broncos faced off against the Fresno State Bulldogs last night, and with the win over the Bulldogs, Boise State is headed to sunny Las Vegas to square off against the Oregon Ducks.
Oregon finished this season in the Pac 12 ranked in fourth, right behind Stanford.
The Broncos’ bowl streak is tied for the sixth-longest in the country with Wisconsin, and trails only Florida State (36), Virginia Tech (25), Georgia (21), Oklahoma (19) and LSU (18).
Boise State and Oregon have faced off twice, with the Broncos coming out on top both times. On top of the previous wins, Boise State has played in three straight Las Vegas Bowl games, from 2010-2012.
"As far as the game and the matchup, Oregon a lot of respect for their football team,” said Head Coach Bryan Harsin. “They have had tremendous success don't know much about them we will obviously get onto the film and start studying and see what they do but our guys are excited we are excited to be in this game we are obviously excited coming from the championship game and knowing we have another opportunity another part of our goal to achieve.”
