Boise state Broncos held one of many summer football camps. Today’s camp had almost 600 aspiring football players working on the game with the current players and coaches. For the players, it’s a chance to give back, as well as keep their mind in football mode.
Senior Offensive Lineman Mario Yakoo says: “It’s good to teach the kids, obviously, all the fundamentals. It’s good to engrave in their mind. It’s not just about winning, but winning is important.”
“A lot of it is what you make out of it. I mean, you can go through everything half speed, but a lot of your guys will hold you accountable to going full speed and taking every rep seriously. Otherwise, someone is going to get themselves hurt.” remarks Sam McCaskill, Senior Defensive End.
