Bronco's fall to Idaho State

Shalen Shaw’s career-high 32 points were not enough for Boise State as the Broncos lost another close one Friday night 80-77 to Idaho State at Taco Bell Arena. It is the fourth loss for the Broncos by five points or less this season.

Shalen Shaw was on fire Friday night going 13-of-18 from the floor with two 3-pointers as she tallied a team-high 32 points, tied for eighth most in program history. The sophomore forward also added a team-high seven rebounds to go with three assists, one block and one steal in 34 minutes of action.

Boise State shot 47.7 percent from the floor (31-65), 25 percent (4-16) from beyond the arc and 64.7 percent (11-17) from the charity stripe. Boise State out scored ISU 38-to-30 in points in the paint and 19-to-15 in points off turnovers, but Idaho State dominated the glass out rebounding the Broncos 38-to-28.

Boise State will be back in action Sunday afternoon when they host Concordia (Ore.) at 2 p.m. in Taco Bell Arena.
