Saturday the heavy rivalry between Nevada and Boise State will come to a climax. There have been several key matchups between the two schools and until the Mountain West Conference realigned the conference it was a regular tradition.

Saturday will be the first meeting between the two programs at Albertsons Stadium since 2014.  The year gap between playing each other has been the longest since the two started squaring off against each other since 1971.

This week the Boise State coaching staff educated their players on the importance of this game as Nevada looks for their first win on the blue in 20 years.

“They don’t know it. We played them every year and the kind of games that we have been in we know what it's like to play in their stadium and what it's like when they come here.  Those guys don’t know all those things.  You look at our schedule and they can feel that was a big game on the schedule and it's important,” said Head Coach Bryan Harsin.
