Senior guard Chandler Hutchison was named the Mountain West Men’s Basketball Player of the Week.
Hutchison recorded the first known triple-double in program history against Portland over the weekend. He finished the day with 23 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists.
The triple-double was just the fifth in Mountain West history and the sixth in NCAA Division I this season.
His 10 assists were also a career high, and made him the first Boise State player to record 10 assists in a game since Mikey Thompson did against Colorado State in 2016.
The senior also was outstanding against Oregon, having a double-double with 20 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Broncos in both categories. The win snapped a 46-game home winning streak at Matthew Knight Arena for the Ducks.
The Broncos will be back in action at Taco Bell Arena, Saturday, Dec. 9, at 2 p.m. against Sacramento State.
