Posted

No one likes to see players get hurt but in football it can be a blessing and a chance for an extra year and that is the case for some of the Boise State Broncos.

It's been Brett Rypien's team at quarterback since Ryan Finley got hurt in the Idaho State game.  The Broncos also lost safety Dylan Sumner Gardner in September both are out for the bowl game.  They both will able to have a medical redshirt for next year.

Safety Darian Thompson and wide receiver Shane Williams-Rhodes missed the final two regular season games and should be ready the Poinsettia Bowl according to Coach Harsin.

Let tackle Rees Odhiambo was injured against the Wyoming Cowboys and will not play in the bowl game.
