The Vandals took down Japan 74-64 on Saturday evening. The Vandals trailed by as many as nine points in the third quarter, but closed the quarter strong and carried that momentum into the fourth. Idaho would go on a 12-0 run to reclaim a lead it would not relinquish. Idaho outscored Japan, 30-13, in the fourth.
Next up, the Vandals close out play in the Atlas Challenge against Macedonia. Idaho fell in the first meeting, 69-67, after going cold in the closing minutes.
