Sophomore Allie Ostrander has the tall task of running in the 3,000-meter steeplechase and the 5,000 meter at nationals in Eugene, Oregon.
The Kenai, Alaska native will continue what will be a five-year streak that a Bronco Steepler on the women’s side has competed at nationals.
Even with all the pressure of running on national stage Ostrander is ready for the challenge and isn’t worried about having a target on her back.
"It helps keeps me motivated it gets me twitter followers but I don't mind it I want to be someone that can push the pace of the race and make a race honest."
