Rypien stepping up big for the Bronco Offense

Brett Rypien has really turned it up, in the past couple of games under center for Broncos He is now closing in on the records of some of the great quarterbacks in Boise State history.

In last weekends win over the Falcons, Rypien finished the game 16 for 22 passing for 300 yards and three touchdowns. It was Rypien’s 13th career 300-yard passing game, putting him in third place for the Bronco’s, behind Ryan Dinwiddie and all-time Boise State leader Kellen Moore.

“He's going into games feeling very confident, prepared, and it’s showing through this last few games.

He has made some big-time throws, he trusts all his wide receivers, he trusts our offensive lines.

It’s coming around at the right point and the right time of the season," said Offensive Coordinator Zak Hill.
