Vandals return home vs. NMSU

Posted

Up north the Idaho Vandals took down Louisiana-Monroe on a walk-off field goal. Now they can move above 500 this late in the season for the first time since 2010 as Idaho welcomes in New Mexico State to the Kibbie Dome.

Idaho has been well balanced on offense, Matt Linehan threw for 210 yards. On the ground, the vandals had 203 yards against the Warhawks last week. According to Coach Petrino, the team is energized and ready.

“We have had a lot of trails where we have had to come back after getting knocked down. I think there is a lot of energy in the building. I think they're excited to finish the first six games 3-3. Now we need to make sure we get three more wins and just take it one week at a time and get as many as we can.” Said Coach Petrino
