The wins keep on coming their way to Boise State. Their 9 and 1 record ties for the best 10 game start to a season in school history.
It makes you wonder what it could have been if Chandler Hutchison didn't suffer a concussion against Iowa State in which he had to leave the game and the Broncos eventually lost.
Chandler Hutchison had 21 points and 12 rebounds yesterday as Boise state crushed Sacramento state 77-54. Hutchison collected his fourth double-double of the season.
However, if the Broncos star player was able to play against the Cyclones and Boise State won and remained undefeated, the Broncos might have cracked the top 25.
"That kills me every day I think about that just being a competitor just realizing our potential as a team and seeing that is tough. I just find a way to appreciate the opportunity that we have to play together and try not to worry about that cause you can't really control that," said senior Chandler Hutchison.
"As a coach it's amazing you can win 27-3 and who did you lose to and you know exactly who you lost to and you would have loved to seen him in that whole game but you know that basketball," said Leon Rice.
Boise state will back in action on Wednesday night when they host Grand Canyon. They will close their nonconference schedule a week from Monday hosting SMU from the American Athletic Conference.
If Boise State can win those two games there is a chance they might be able to make the Top 25 poll.
