NAMPA, Idaho — Warm temperatures are taking over the Treasure Valley for today, but the warmer weather will take a break this weekend giving those in the Valley some relief. Temperatures will hang in the low 80s on both Saturday and Sunday. However, next week's temperatures will make a comeback and will start to climb back into the 90s.

In our mountains, there is a 40% chance of scattered storms on Friday and Saturday. These storms pose a serious threat to the area as it's the most vulnerable. Gusty winds, scattered storms and dry conditions throughout Southwest Idaho have led the National Weather Service to issue a red flag warning effective until 10 a.m Saturday.

With wildfires popping up frequently, it's important to be prepared and stay aware. Catch another look at the On Your Side forecast with Scott Dorval's tonight on 6 On Your Side.
