BOISE, Idaho — Thousands of music lovers both young and old flock to downtown Boise every year to celebrate Indie bands from across the globe. What started as a day-long concert has quickly grown into a five-day music festival with various "forts" to keep you busy. There's a fort for the foodies, beer lovers, comedy junkies, film geeks, yogis and even kids.

But with so much commotion things will get busy--and loud--and that's why St. Luke's hospital will have volunteers handing out complimentary earplugs at various downtown venues.

You'll also want to be prepared for major closures that have gone into effect today and will end Monday morning. Grove Street will be closed between 11th and 14th Streets and 12th Street will be closed between Main and Front Streets.

If you've never been to Treefort or even a music festival, Treefort released their "Survival Guide" for this year's event. It's a list of tips and tricks to make your experience as pleasant as possible.
