Warmer Monday, but Windy with Scattered Showers

Posted

A little rainy, a lot breezy, but also a bit warmer in the On Your Side forecast for Monday. The rain will be off and on throughout the day across southern Idaho as the system driving all of this moisture starts to drift south. Temperatures will be on the rise, reaching near 70° for the Boise area today.

The wind returns this afternoon out of the NW, with sustained speeds reaching 10 to 20 mph sustained, gusting up to 30 mph. Mountain locations will remain cloudy and stormy through this evening.

By tomorrow, we’ll see more sunshine and warmer temperatures, with highs hitting the upper 70s Tuesday afternoon. By Wednesday, we should reach 80°, though that warmth will be short lived. A cold front is expected to bring showers and cooler temps back into southwest Idaho on Thursday.
