Monday's weather brings us yet another afternoon with scattered showers and t-storms. Most of the storms will stick to higher elevations today.
We're looking at about a 40% chance of the Treasure Valley area seeing an uptick in this activity from noon to 5PM. Not everyone in the area will get the brunt of this storm, but some areas could see small hail, gusty winds, and heavy rain. Some localized flooding could occur in areas with poor drainage but no watches or warnings are in place at this time.
There's a stronger chance of active weather in our higher elevations today with the majority of storm development happening towards the east near Sun Valley and Stanley. In those areas we are looking at a 100% chance of rain. A potential for flooding in areas with poor drainage today with upwards of 1" rain expected.
Drier conditions are expected to round out the week in the region as this low pressure system moves eastward.
