Temperatures remain average this weekend but near record heat on Monday

NAMPA, Idaho — Clear skies and dry weather continue across Eastern Oregon and southwestern Idaho through Sunday.

Cooler and drier air moves in this afternoon keeping temperatures mostly in the low 80's. Mountain areas can expect even cooler conditions in the upper 60's.

Warmer temperatures resume Saturday and by Sunday we'll be about 10-15 degrees above average. With Monday's triple-digit heat nearing a record of 106-degrees.
