BOISE, Idaho — Are you itching to get your green thumb a little dirty while supporting a small business? Most greenhouses and plant nurseries are finding people showing a renewed interest in flower and vegetable gardening.
Edwards Greenhouse has been a fixture in the North End since 1938, but even they have had to make changes to keep employees and the public safe. The nursery limits a strict 25 customers in at any one time and has a one cart in, one cart out system in place.
Hours have been cut back and doors are only open Tuesday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Customers should expect a short wait and everyone is asked to wear some sort of face mask.
Children and pets are currently not allowed in the nursery at this time. Online ordering is also temporarily paused but you can find their current availability online.
