TWIN FALLS, Idaho — A local business owner is working to help those in need by starting a community pantry outside her shop.

Char Bamesberger owns Crystals Enlight, a shop in downtown Twin Falls just two doors down from City Hall.

She says she wanted to do something to support the community she loves, and was inspired to start the pantry after seeing someone do something similar in the Midwest.

"I thought 'Wow! We could do that! We're right in downtown Twin Falls,'" Bamesberger said. "(We) had an extra cabinet down in the basement so we just pulled that up and brought what I had from home."

Here's how the pantry works: anyone can stop by, any time, and take whatever they need. If you'd like to donate, just pop by the pantry any time.

If you do use the pantry, make sure you wipe down anything you touch with the provided disinfectant wipes.
