BOISE, Idaho — Small businesses are having to rethink the way they do business during the stay-home order. Independent bookseller Rediscovered Books is now offering curbside pick-up at both the downtown Boise and Caldwell locations.
They have been offering deliveries in the Boise, Meridian, Nampa and Caldwell areas.
"When the governor revised his stay at home order to allow curbside pick-up, we immediately started trying to figure out how we'd make that work," said Bruce Delaney, co-owner of Rediscovered Books. "Because that's what most of our customers actually want. They like the fact that we're willing to deliver books, but most of them want to come and get the books as quickly as they can."
The curbside service involves a table on the sidewalk in front of the store where customers can drive by and pick up their purchases. The curbside pick-up is available Tuesday through Saturday at the Boise store and Wednesday through Saturday at their Caldwell store.
