BOISE, Idaho — If you are craving an adult beverage while at home, you an support a local beer and bottle shop. Tuesday is National Beer Day and Craft Brewers of Boise, located on Orchard on the Boise Bench, has you covered.
The little shop offers a wide selection of local beer, cider and mead. They can also teach you how to make your own beer at home, if you want to get creative. But like all small businesses, the COVID-19 outbreak is forcing it to make changes to keep the doors open.
"Idaho has such a vibrant, interesting beer culture and the parts that survive this, the breweries, the taprooms, the bottle shops... all that is going to depend on the support of locals," said Jeremy Jones, manager at Craft Brewers of Boise. "Always has, always will."
Delivery services for alcohol is new territory in Idaho. Craft Brewers of Boise is offering same day delivery in Boise for orders made before 6 p.m. You can also swing by the shop and get takeout.
